Framfari and Björk Óskars

Framfari was born in Akureyri, Iceland but was raised up in Hólmavík, Westfjords.  He is a self tought musician and a composer who has been a part of several bands and co-operative music projects since he was 15 years old. Framfari composed music for the 2019 documentary Cosmic Birth and has performed in many diverse concerts and live improvisations since than.  Because of many different styles, Framfari plans to release up to 3 different solo albums later this year, along with work among other musicians. Apart from his music, his claim to fame is his legendary time as a mid-fielder for Húsavík Football club Völsungur.

Björk Óskarsdóttir was born in Akureyri, North Iceland where she graduated from Akureyri School of Music and Akureyri Comprehensive College in 2005. After that she completed Bachelors and Masters degrees in Violin Performance from Iceland Academy of the Arts and Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Since then Björk has collaborated with several orchestras performing classical music, such as Icelandic National Opera, North Iceland Symphony Orchestra, Symphonia Assai in Belgium and Symphony Orchestra of Larisa in Greece. Björk enjoys performing a wide range of musical genres and has toured and recorded extensively for Icelandic composer Ólafur Arnalds. Other recording work includes artists such as Björk Guðmundsdóttir, Kaleo and others. She has taught music at the International School of Brussels and the American School of New Delhi, and in her free time enjoys writing album reviews for pianoandcoffee.com
